Peggy Harris, CFO of Pediatric Specialists of Virginia (PSV), said they were initially interested in using Rivet to manage and monitor their contracts.
“Medical contracting is like the biggest black box,” Peggy said. “It’s confusing on our side as the providers, and it’s confusing on the payer’s side as they adjudicate claims. There is no way to know how well your contracts are performing without a tool like Rivet.”
After about three years of using Rivet, Peggy said she likes more than just the contract management capabilities.
“The analytics and data aggregation tools in Rivet are great: we can sort and display claims data in ways you’d never be able to do on your own. It’s awesome,” Peggy said. “Rivet’s software is a necessity to manage medical practices of any size.”
But that’s not the best part. Peggy said Rivet Underpayments is where they get the most distinct return on investment.
“It’s good to know if payers are paying us the wrong amount and nobody knows it,” Peggy said.
As Rivet continues to grow, Peggy said she still loves working with Rivet’s customer support.
“One of the most rewarding parts of working with the Rivet team is that they’re enormously dedicated, responsive and interested in helping us. Just a really super group of people to work with.”
