September 2021 Rivet Updates

Written by Alexa Reimschussel | Sep 9, 2021 10:01:54 PM

Last month we introduced some incredible improvements to patient estimates, but this month we made estimates even better. And below, you can see a sneak peek of our denials management software launching in October! We're excited to share with you what we've been working on to make Rivet better than ever this month.

Denials Early Adopter Program

Rivet is launching its very own Denials Management product next month! You can still become an early adopter and test out the product before its official launch.

Eligibility Updates

Rivet now allows you to store and automatically reference your PINs for certain payers (associated with your NPI) when needed in eligibility checks. (See top right image.)

Set rules for claims with patients 65 years or older to calculate payment variance according to Medicare rather than commercial rates.

Rivet is now even smarter when it comes to insurance benefits selection by using a hierarchy of service type codes and places of service to capture eligibility and enable on-point estimates.

Coming Soon: Rivet will display prior authorization notifications received from the payer, consisting of one two tags: Authorization Required and Authorization Unknown. We recommend that you check with the payer for possible authorization requirements if you receive the unknown tag. (See bottom right image.)

Estimates Updates

You can now save credit or debit cards to patient accounts, simplifying future estimate payment processing online or in office. (See top right image for how it works on a patient's phone.)

Rivet now supports additional modifiers (ABN including GA and GZ) on estimates to more accurately predict code-level coverage.

You can now upload multiple CPT and HCPCS codes you commonly use together as a service template that you can easily use in estimates. (See bottom right image.)

Service Location Update

You can now duplicate existing service locations in Rivet to make creating a new service location easier than ever.
